Government Investment Partners Names Industry Veteran Ed Fanselow Senior Vice President of Strategy & Growth and Partner

Former CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers executive joins leadership team as GIP accelerates next phase of institutional growth

CHICAGO — Government Investment Partners (GIP), a vertically integrated real estate investment, development and operating company specializing in government-leased real estate, today announced that Ed Fanselow has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Growth and Partner, a key strategic hire as the company continues expanding its investment platform and institutional capabilities.

Fanselow will help lead GIP’s continued evolution by strengthening the firm’s operational infrastructure, refining its go-to-market strategy and enhancing the client, investor and partner experience. Working alongside the rest of GIP’s executive leadership team, he will focus on building scalable systems and processes that support the company’s long-term growth objectives while preserving the entrepreneurial culture that has fueled its success.

Fanselow brings more than 15 years of leadership experience from four of the world’s largest commercial real estate services firms—CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers—where he held senior roles spanning operations, business development, organizational transformation, communications, brand strategy and change management.

Throughout his career, he has advised and helped lead organizations through periods of significant growth, modernization and strategic transformation, developing expertise in scaling businesses, strengthening brands and creating operational excellence.

“As GIP continues to grow, we’re making intentional investments in our people, our platform and our infrastructure,” said Kris Jankowski, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Government Investment Partners. “Ed’s experience inside the industry’s largest and most sophisticated real estate organizations gives him a unique perspective on what it takes to build enduring businesses. Just as importantly, he understands how to preserve an entrepreneurial culture while introducing the operational discipline, strategic planning and institutional rigor needed to support sustained growth. He is an outstanding addition to our leadership team and an important part of where we’re headed.”

Fanselow joins GIP during a period of significant momentum as the firm continues to expand its acquisition, development and investment management capabilities while growing its presence within the specialized government-leased real estate sector.
